 The Gospel of Judas

The mainstream media has for much of the past 30 years in part been at War Against God.

They attack the concept of morality in law, meaning law can’t be based on morals, but science. In actuality, all laws are based on morals – not science. What they mean is law can’t be based on Judeo-Christian morals or God’s laws.

The War against God continues in the media with the printing and headlines for every possible evolution theory and the banishment of intelligent design or creation comments altogether within the media.

The liberal media also promotes much of the same secular laws within our school systems.

Lastly, anything that seems to discredit the Bible gets top priority billing, while things that are found to confirm it as 100% accurate are buried.

The Gospel of Judas for instance is presented with a claim that it requires Christians to rethink their beliefs. Why would any reasonably minded Christian do that?

All the disciples were of the opinion that Jesus was going to restore the Kingdom of David. This is why none of them even thought about starting any gospel accounts during their time with Jesus. The disciples thought all was lost when Jesus died instead of understanding the meaning of the prophets and of His words.

So considering the Gospel of Judas when did he have time to write it? From the time of his remorse before his death? Ridiculous!

Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyon, wrote a treatise called Against Heresies. The book fiercely attacked a group who revered Judas, "the traitor," and had produced a "fictitious history," which "they style the Gospel of Judas." Obviously the Gospel of Judas was around and was meant to discredit Christianity which was a common thing to do in the early years of the Church -- just as it is today.

To real Christians, Jesus said I will prove who are true or not by the signs that follow them. They will heal, cast out demons, and survive deadly snake bites. (They also will follow the universal laws of God for mankind which God created at creation.) Luke verifies the Apostles that are canonized in the Bible, are the Church from Christ.

It is their Word that is meaningful and authoritative as being from Jesus Himself.

The more important issue is that their Word is so consistent with the rest of the scriptures (Old Testament) that the message from God becomes more alive through the ages.

Ultimately the Testimony of Jesus comes out loud and clear from Genesis, the Law, the Writings, the Prophets, the Gospels, and the Revelation.

Pay attention to the truth and read the Word of God with a desire to do what God says and those who hate the truth will never have an opportunity to destroy your faith!

They War against God -- lets fight the good fight for Him like you would support your own family, your own Father!
