e have decided to keep the Feast of
Tabernacles again at the Victoria Ramada Waterway Conference Centre.
Victoria is a beautiful location with incredible gardens, shopping,
mountains, ocean, and harbour. It is a fantastic location for all ages
and budgets.
Area Attractions
Just a five-minute drive to downtown are the famous Inner Harbour and
major attractions! The Ramada is located near the scenic Gorge Waterway,
which runs into the Inner Harbour. Also nearby are several scenic
walking/biking trails, kayak rental facilities, and challenging golf
courses. In addition, we are close to great shopping at Mayfair Mall,
Tillicum Mall, and Hillside Center.
While the Ramada is in the city of Victoria, you can still enjoy
nature by viewing the beautiful fall colours at numerous parks in the
area, including ones
that overlook spectacular water sunsets of the major shipping lanes
to Vancouver.
Some area attractions are Butchart Gardens, museums, Undersea
Gardens, whale watching tours, Empress Tea Time, great hiking, shopping,
etc.
Accommodations
The Ramada has contemporary guest rooms featuring one queen size bed
with a sofa, two queens, or one king. In addition, there are several
suites set aside for family accommodations that are incredibly
affordable and very clean. Most rooms in our booking will have a
mini-fridge included. Full housekeeping service is provided twice a
week, with daily towel and garbage service. We strongly suggest you take
a tour of the facility at
www.victoriaramada.com.
Church Services
Church services are held right on the grounds, and chairs are padded.
Visitors to this Canadian feast site will feel at home. The Feast
Coordinator, Eric Jantzen, is working to ensure all your needs are met.
A variety of speakers will be available to provide you greater insight
into God’s holydays, God’s plan of salvation, and to help you put sound
biblical principles to greater use in your life. Updates on speakers and
activities will be posted along the way at
www.cgicanada.org.
We will continue the focus on making a positive influence in the
lives of our teens and young adults, and there will be Sabbath School
classes daily for the children in the room that doubles as our
hospitality room for informal meetings and luncheons. During the week
there will be at least a couple of church luncheons provided.
